Dark Realm Studios is a video game development company located in British Columbia, Canada. We are a small group of enthusiastic programmers, artists and designers that all share one common goal: To produce original, polished games that people all over the world can experience and enjoy. We are continually striving to better ourselves and improve upon our past work.
We are currently focusing on developing flash based games for casual gaming websites. However preparations have begun that will allow us to start developing larger games for new platforms and mediums.

January 2007 to April 2007
Starting in 2007, Dark Realm Studios was known as New Pandemic. The first game released was Pandemic. Pandemic became a favorite for many people on Newgrounds and even became the top flash submission for a period of time. The success of Pandemic encouraged Dan Archibald (aka Blips) to develop 2 more flash based games. With design starting on a 4th game named Kingdom Keeper, a legal noticed was delivered to New Pandemic. Due to various reasons, Dan was forced to remove the New Pandemic website and stop all work on games.
May 2007 to June 2008
With no website and no name, Dan was forced to come up with a new name and design a new website. After much thought and work, Dark Realm Studios was born. Dan decided to put Kingdom Keeper off to the side, and instead comeback with a bang and develop Pandemic 2. Work on Pandemic 2 was long and tedious. By December 2007, the game had entered beta and looked like it would be released within a month. Instead of releasing Pandemic 2 on December 31st, Dan decided to redesign 80% of the game. Unhappy with how it looked and played he began to re-work the game towards a new focused vision.
July 2008 to Present
July 14th 2008 resulted in something that many people had begun to doubt would ever come. Pandemic 2 was finally released online. While some people felt the game was inferior to the original, the overall response was huge. Pandemic 2 became the top scoring flash submission on Newgrounds, at one point achieving a score of 4.6 out of 5. Pandemic 2 also became the 4th highest rated game on Crazy Monkey Games.
